SAUSOLITO SELECTED AMONG THE 100 MOST IMPORTANT ALBUMS IN CATALAN JAZZ HISTORY
The magazine JAÇ has made a selection of the 100 top albums of the Catalan Jazz history, voted for 25 specialized critis. The number 1 record it's been "Vampyria", by pianists Tete Montoliu and Jordi Sabatés.

USAQUÉN has been voted 2nd best record of the year 2008 by JAÇ Magazine, after Perico Sambeat's "Flamenco Big Band".
Also, GRANADA JAZZ Magazine selected USAQUÉN as 2nd best national record of 2008, after Tete Montoliu & Javier Colina duo album "1995".

Drummer Peer Wyboris died on August 22nd, 2008
Peer has been one of the greatest drummers in Spanish jazz history. He played with Tete Montoliu for more than 20 years and with most of the international artists that visited Spain. The Magazine AMJM published an article with words from some of his friends. Peer played drums on Iñaki's first record SAUSOLITO. Rest is peace. Read the article
